Description
Louise Boisvert lives in Mauricie, Quebec Canada. She received a BFA in Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières and a MFA from Université du Québec à Montréal. Since graduating in 1980, her work has travelled to different galleries in Quebec, Switzerland, Belgium and group shows in France, Serbia, Canada, the United States, Mexico, China, Japan and Egypt. They have also been seen in Contemporary International Art Fairs in Bâle (Switzerland), Chicago, Los Angeles, New-York and Paris. Her works are found in many public and private collections in North-America and Europe. Louise Boisvert has been selected to create Public art in Quebec and has received fellowships for her works from Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. She is currently a teacher’s assistant at the Université du Québec in Trois-Rivières.
